Brubeck’s passing left me revisiting quite a few of my college playlists. For all you night owls, here’s my favorite nu-jazz track of ’07.

In loving memory of one of my favorite Jazz musicians of all time. I’ll miss you greatly Mr. Brubeck! Please give my regards to Mr. Desmond up there in Jazz heaven :]

A beautiful down-tuned cover of Whitney Houston’s ‘How Will I Know’ by Pistiljonen. Lovin that sax.

So addicting. Joyeux Vendredi, tout le monde!

Soooo after thinking that I dodged the flu bullet, the sly little virus (or it’s filthy cousin) successfully managed to sneak it’s way into my being– FML! Foals’ ‘Inhaler’, off the Holy Fire album, shall keep me company while I angrily brew my strongest soup.

Instructions: 1. Pair with your favorite food(s) and/or beverage(s). 2. Kiss your long-ass workday goodbye. 3. Repeat as necessary.

WINTER(BREAK) IS COMING!!!… in four more weeks >< Some brilliant downtempo from Kyson in Berlin, Germany, to soothe our minds and ease us along the way.

Rhye = Mike Milosh + some rando. ‘The Fall’ is a great track to add to any stuck-in-the-kitchen-cooking-for-my-family-2012-thanksgiving-playlist. Drive safe, eat well, and happy gobble gobble!

Cubism’s deep remix of ‘Miss You’ improves upon the near-flawless and fantastically delicate original. The track comes off Trentemoller’s 2006 album, The Last Resort. Stay toasty my friends.

‘By the ball sweat of Hades’ dank nether regions’, HOW I HATE DUBSTEP!!! And yet I just can’t bring myself to hate Seven Lions and his amazing(ly tolerable) remixes. I guess ‘60% of the time, it works every time’. >.<
